Paradiski - base · 1208 m

Paradiski brings together Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne in the French Alps. It is a linked collection of resorts and mountain sectors, rather than a single base station. Choosing where to stay also means choosing which part of this large area you reach first each morning.

The Vanoise Express provides the connection between the two sides of the domain. The operator lists 425 km of pistes and says that 70% lie above 2,000 m. Those figures describe the full network, not the terrain open on a particular day. Check that your lift pass covers the crossing and allow time for the return connections.

For weather planning, the important distinction is between lower access points and the high slopes. This listing's default forecast elevation is 1,208 m, so its temperature and snow estimate should not be read as a forecast for the whole of Paradiski. Select the location and elevation of the sector you intend to ski, and compare it with the forecast for your accommodation or return route.

When a weather change is due during the day, read the hourly intervals around your planned crossing as well as the daily snow total. The official operating report remains the source for open pistes, lifts and connections; a favourable forecast alone does not establish that they are running.
