Moose Mountain is an alpine ski and snowboard area near Fairbanks in interior Alaska. Its mostly south-facing terrain includes broad cruising runs and steeper wooded descents, with around 1,300 feet of vertical relief. Winter temperature inversions can make the slopes warmer than the valley below, so local conditions can differ considerably from Fairbanks. This forecast point represents the mapped ski area at approximately 434 m. Consult the operator for access, conditions and opening days. Official resort website.
