Côté Tignes, le secteur de la Grande Motte rejoint Val Claret par la piste Double M. Sur l'autre partie du domaine, Solaise propose des pistes vertes et bleues en altitude ainsi que l'espace d'apprentissage ValKids. Entre espaces débutants, longues descentes et terrain de haute montagne, le choix du secteur renseigne mieux qu'une seule description générale.
L'altitude de prévision par défaut de cette page est de 2 668 m. Il s'agit d'un repère en montagne, et non de l'altitude des hébergements ou d'une prévision au niveau de la station. Utilisez-le pour des conditions à une hauteur comparable et choisissez séparément un point plus bas pour votre arrivée, votre séjour et le retour.
Avant de passer de Tignes à Val d’Isère, ou inversement, vérifiez les pistes et remontées de liaison ouvertes ainsi que les horaires de retour. Comparez température, vent et intervalles correspondant à la traversée, plutôt que le seul cumul quotidien de neige. Une chute prévue à cette altitude de référence ne signifie pas la même accumulation dans toutes les parties inférieures du domaine.
