Courchevel réunit plusieurs points de départ à différentes altitudes dans Les 3 Vallées. Le Praz, La Tania, Village, Moriond et Courchevel 1850 figurent séparément sur le plan officiel. Ce choix détermine le début de votre journée, mais aussi la prévision la plus pertinente pour votre hébergement et votre première remontée.
Le point SnowReportMeteo affiché par défaut est à 1 338 m. Sa température ne représente pas celle de Courchevel 1850 ou des pistes supérieures. Avec un isotherme zéro degré vers 1 600 m, par exemple, ce point est en dessous tandis que certaines bases sont au-dessus. Cela aide à comprendre pourquoi des observations provenant de différents quartiers peuvent diverger. L’isotherme zéro degré n’est toutefois pas la limite exacte entre pluie et neige.
Pour rejoindre Méribel, regardez aussi les heures du retour. Un départ ensoleillé ne décrit pas toute la journée. Le plan officiel indique les itinéraires et les liaisons ; la comparaison des modèles permet de vérifier s’ils s’accordent sur l’heure d’une dégradation. Consultez séparément l’état des remontées avant de partir.
