Pour skier au départ de Cavalese, recherchez Alpe Cermis sur le plan des pistes. Dans le Val di Fiemme, au Trentin, son domaine desservi par remontées comprend des pistes bleues, rouges et noires. Cette page porte le nom de la destination Cavalese ; sa prévision ne représente pas tous les domaines skiables du Val di Fiemme.
Olimpia est la grande descente caractéristique du domaine. Ses sections successives relient les environs du Paion del Cermis, vers 2 250 m, au fond de vallée, vers 850 m. Cette différence d'altitude est plus utile pour comprendre la météo qu'une seule température attribuée à toute la station : les conditions peuvent être très différentes entre le haut et la dernière partie de la descente.
Notre point par défaut est à 935 m, près du bas de cette tranche d'altitude. Avant une journée sur les pistes supérieures, sélectionnez aussi un point de prévision à la hauteur où vous comptez skier. Comparez l'isotherme zéro degré et les horaires des précipitations aux deux niveaux. De la neige prévue en altitude n'implique pas forcément de la neige sur l'accès inférieur.
L'exploitant propose également du ski nocturne sur Olimpia III selon son programme. Pour une sortie le soir, vérifiez l'annonce d'ouverture et la prévision des heures concernées, plutôt que le seul résumé de la journée. Le plan officiel permet de situer chaque section et d'en vérifier la difficulté.
