Boí Taüll is a high-elevation ski area in the Lleida Pyrenees, above the Vall de Boí. The local tourism office gives a ski-area range of approximately 2,020–2,751 m, with a lower learning area as well as more demanding terrain. The resort and the places to stay in the valley are different weather locations.
Our default lower forecast point is at 2,039 m, while the highest saved point is at 2,748 m. If Boí Taüll appears in the worldwide snowfall highlight, check the elevation printed beside its name: that highlight may refer to the upper point rather than the lower forecast initially shown here. A difference between those totals does not automatically indicate a calculation error; they can describe different parts of the mountain.
For the same reason, compare GFS and ECMWF at the same selected point and over the same hours. Strong disagreement is a reason to treat the amount as uncertain, not to choose the larger figure as a promise. The forecast describes new snow during a period; the resort’s live report and webcams show the actual conditions, including existing snow cover and current operating status.
