Pilio Ski Resort is a ski center of the Prefecture of Magnesia, on Mount Pelion.
It is located 2 km from the settlement of Chania, km from Agios Lavrentios and 27 km from Volos. Its altitude of 1471 meters, is an extremely low for a ski resort, giving it peculiarities in snowfall, in combination with the morphology of the area and the climate.
