Kartepe Ski Centre has been constructed at 1650m altitude over Mount Kartepe. Kartepe is covered by forest composed of hazelnut, oak and chestnut trees. There are villages on the hillsides among fruitranches. The easiest access to Kartepe Ski Centre can be provided from Maşukiye. Kartepe is famous for the-most-closest ski resort to Istanbul and recent years, the popularity of the ski resort is getting higher. Despite of this fame, the ski conditions are highly effected from the sudden weather changes so climate and isolation of the ski resort can be unstable when compared with Uludağ and Kartalkaya Ski resorts. Best is to get the travel advise before you depart and alternatively you can check snow depth of the resorts gallery to stay tuned for the latest changes.
